After two wonderful
days in Rio, fly off to Manaus, the city that lies at the tip of
the Amazon. One of the features of this extraordinary city is the
Teatro Amazonas, built in the style of the Italian Renaissance in
1896. Your adventure continues as you take a boat ride to the Ariau
Jungle Lodge. Enjoy the fabulous views as you walk the 30 feet high
catwalks. See colorful macaws, wild orchids and many exotic animals
in their natural habitat.

DAY 1: RIO Take TAM Brazilian Airlines' flight from Miami. Arrive in Rio early next morning. In the afternoon enjoy a sightseeing tour of the city and Sugarloaf Mountain.
DAY 2: RIO Day at leisure to experience all that Rio has to offer.
DAY 3: RIO / MANAUS Spend the morning shopping for souvenirs.
Afternoon transfer to the airport for your flight to
Manaus. On arrival transfer to your hotel.
DAY 4: MANAUS / ARIAU JUNGLE LODGE After breakfast spend the morning discovering the wonders of
Manaus. In the afternoon check out of your hotel and take a boat ride to the Ariau Jungle Lodge, in time for dinner. |
DAY 5: ARIAU JUNGLE LODGE Breakfast, then take a jungle trek into the Amazon. In the afternoon try your luck at piranha fishing and go alligator spotting after dinner.
DAY 6: ARIAU JUNGLE LODGE/MANAUS Relax and enjoy the natural surroundings of this nature lover's paradise. After lunch, board your boat for your trip back to Manaus in time for a sightseeing tour and dinner. Transfer to the airport for your flight to Sao Paulo and your connecting flight back to Miami. |
